Conical bottle?

Not sure what it was even for. Has a tooled lip.

Looks VERY interesting. Does it have base marking? It reminds me of ink, mucilage, or perhaps blacking / shoe polish. I believe I have never seen that exact form before. Jim

Unfortunately there's no markings. It may be earlier than I think. The seam stops about half inch on one side and a quarter inch on the other. The tooling is crude, and the lip is flared out.

I found it in Schulenburg, Texas. It was from a dump in town that was unearthed during construction.

I forgot to mention that the glass seems pretty thin for a bottle of this size.

That is a truly unique shape, I love it! Is it pontiled?The only Triple Ringed Neck bottle I can find is this Pepper Sauce, LINK, and a bunch of different decanters.I agree, Mucilage or Ink, possibly Shoe Polish.

I'm still new to bottles, but I can see no evidence of a pontil. I posted more pictures of the seams on the sides and the base.
