Cookeville, TN Coke Dig

Quick dig with my buddy Samuel yielded a wide variety of Cookeville cokes. Unfortunately all heartbreakers including a nearly whole Knoxville amber and two nearly whole block lettering Cookeville variants.

I wish I could tell the story about the dig but I'm keeping it private out of respect for the guy who showed me the spot. It was one of the most dangerous things I've ever done including tight spaces, tons of broken glass under my feet, and hazards above my head. One day I'll spill the beans on the whole story.

I may send the broken ones out to turn into cups or pencil holders, any suggestions for locals who can do this? Also, any insight into the history of these is greatly appreciated .

Scheuerman bottling works, Lebanon TN crown top. Appears early.
Knoxville Amber coke, 1910s
Several Cookeville amber cokes, 1910s
Several Cookeville block letter cokes, likely held a flavored non-coke drink.
Several Cookeville soda waters
Model T Grease cap, 1910-1920s
Waterfill and frazier whiskey
Unembossed utility bottle
Several "med-style" bottles including Watkins bottle
Several milk glass small jars
Various screw top colognes

The Amber Cookeville Cokes in Script is your best finds, Those are rated as RR in Bill Porters Coke Book. Double rare or Very Rare. Cold be $100+ Bottles in whole good condition. no tops will greatly reduce value. Find some whole ones & that will be great score. Congrats, Leon.

Cool, would have been nice to at least get one whole one. the embossing is cool in itself
