And in the ongoing "sell off" of Wm. J. Bryan bottles, this one a "medium cornflower blue":

Yep, too many of these on the market has brought down the price. This Bryan referenced in the previous post closed at all of $149.50. Either that or it's just the random ebay experience where some potential bidder was out of town or on a budget this month.

This time we have a Wm. J. Bryan in a larger size (approx. 6 ½†in height) in that same now-well-known cornflower blue shade.

The same seller also has this darker-more-cobalt SF druggist up for bid Apothecaries' Hall. Right now both are tied at $113.50 with a few days to go. I don't know this seller and no vested interest on my part. Ongoing series to document prices in this collecting area.

Well the Apothecaries' Hall closed for a decent price which is to say way more they I could ever afford.

And the Wm. J. Bryan closed for very nearly the same price from the same seller. Either of these would have brought maybe $25 in the early 1990s. Did the bottles go up in value or did our paper dollars go down in value?
