When I was a kid, I`m 63 now, it seams that I remember metal and then I think glass Log Cabin bottles with handle. Do I remember correctly or am I having another seniors moment. This bottle I dug up on my property back in 1984.

It`s clear glass, ribs on both sides stopping 1 & 1/8 from the bottle top, has also spliting the ribbed areas Don`t know the word but it`s like 2 places to hold the bottle as they feel like sand paper or maybe couple hundred tiny bumps. The bottom has the number 2 then a shield outline then 203. bottles is 5" tall, base is 1 & 3/4 by 1 & 1/4.
Would appreciate any info on what it is if I`m wrong and how old it might be.
Thanks,
