So the bottle dumps in the area have been turning up some good finds lately. 4 78-79 Pepsi bottles with good condition caps found a few weeks ago and then a couple oldies at a new dump from this weekend. Highlights include a 1964 Jack Frost and a 1965 Pepsi and these two bottles that stood out. They were the first two we found. We noticed that the deeper we went the older things got and the more jars there was over bottles. We went far down first instead of working our way down, well we found these, both are pretty much the same bottle. They say SODA WATER on them and are squared not round. However the have two different markings on the bottom. One is marked CRASS which made me think of Crass cola since i have a few of those but much newer, the other is marked WILLIAMSPORT, PA with a date of 1955. The one marked CRASS also says PRODUCT OF THE COCA COLA BOTTLING COMPANY or something of the sort and the other doesn't it reads something different. Whats the difference? Is it different branding from different years or is the same cola just labeled different like how a GMC is really just a chevy with a different front end?
