I picked this up at a flea market. Is it considered a slug plate?
And I would like your opinion on value. Thanks

I looked for info on it with no luck, basically just google searches. No it's not a local.

Bmac: That's a good looking embossed pint cream top milk alright. Dont know anything about that specific dairy, but a general rule of thumb regarding milk bottles is that the smaller the town it came from, the better the chances of it being a desirable acquisition. Also if it has the name of a specific dairy farmer or small town local dairy, its a lot more desirable than one marked "XXX DAIRY CO." or "XXX DAIRY / MILK CORP." from a large city. Here in PA., for example, a BETSY ROSS DAIRY embossed quart from Shamokin, a very small dairy located in a regional coal patch town, is worth $400-$500. In contrast a BURSCHEL DAIRY CO. embossed quart from Scranton would be hard pressed to reach $5.00.
There is no other category of bottle collecting that is as regionally oriented as are milk bottles. The right bottle in its venue can be worth a lot. Move it 100 miles away and it falls flat. Go figure!
Anyway, congrats on your acquisition.
