Found these criers at two different sites in the last two weeks. First is an early (ca. 1780-1820s) freeblown case gin with a golden patina and massive pontil.

Second is a pontiled Swaim's Panacea base in a nice olive green.

[attachment=012.JPG] I would like to add some criers of my own from last year on a very steep hillside dump. Two of them are Dr. Manly Hardy's Genuine Jaundice Bitters, Bangor Me. and a Wood's Black Ink, Portland. The doughnut shaped pontil on the Hardy's when stood upright sits on the pontil only and not on the base at all.
