Crude Cobalt Charles Ellis Philadelphia

I don't really collect meds but I have not been able to part with this nice cobalt bottle for years. I would guess it dates 1870-1880 but Im not sure if it is a med or something else. Great color and crude embossing with one letter not quite fitting on the bottle. It looks like they did not realize all the letters would not fit when they were making the mold. Embossing: Charles Ellis Son & C Philadelphia I am hoping to find out the use, rarity and maybe a more approximate age. Thanks

You're probably aware of the common citrate bottles with that name, but I've never seen a cobalt rectangle like this one. Nice bottle!

Yup, that's the one. Those are supposedly found in cobalt too but I've never seen one.
