Thanks Paul, How's my, er your yellow Atlas doing? Did you see what I meant about swirls of amber throughout it? It is a beauty!

Bears, Glad to hear you are retiring. I can't really afford to buy anymore either (especially if you listen to my wife) but I can't pass up a good deal either. I sell one to get another. Am very interested in trading for high end glass and; while we love this hobby and the glass, it is all an investment for a rainy day. Lately, it has been raining.

Good to hear from you Ron and Paul.

Bears,
I still want a botttle from you. Hell, your the guy who sold Donald Tucker a Saratoga.

All kidding aside, I have a double winged, teal citrate of Mag from SF, one I picked up from Bill Lindsey out in klamath Falls OR. I have a RB #9 signed by Doug. I have several great poisons of the James Morrison collection and respectively a couple of great bottles from the Cindy Sutter collection and several books and bottles from Matt Knapp. To me, there is great value from who I acquired the glass. Each piece is duley noted.
While I understand these bottles were fillers and not thier cream of the crop, they do hold special meaning to me. These are the days.

One more sweet cone ink I apparently picked up last night. This is a cherry ink.

This is now my keeper and the other cone ink (pictured with the dalbys above) with the chip in the lip will go up for sale or trade. I like pontiled medicines or hair bottles.

Is that Smartweed entirely yellow? Could be a good'un...

It is entirely yellow, with a darker Hue going through the middle blending to the side panels.

Hi Joel,
I really like the yellow Smartweed , and also the new direction your collection is headed in with the rolled lip/OP bottles. I have a few of those myself - all common, but I love them. Plus they don't take up as much room as a demijohn!
Keep posting - it's great to hear from you!

Thanks Annie and Appliedlips. I suppose I am not your usual collector, in that, I never wanted all of anything, just my fair share. I am not attempting to have every bottle ever made from any one entity. Hell, that could be as improbable as finding every rolled lip/pontiled med out there.
I just look for the top end ones that every one else wants for their collections. Then the value (let's not kid ourselves, we all like that) of the bottle is usually secure, especially if you got as a sweet deal.
Take my Warners (not really). There are many warners collections out there but few of them have the three city, mammoth. I do have it and will sell it someday to a collector who is driven by the need to have them all.
If I were to be looking for every bottle in a collection, that would be Vermont medicines. That itself is a huge undertaking as, I believe there were 185 quack medicines sold in Vermont in the 1800's. Pretty amazing for a state that had more cows than people, a few years back.

Here is a rad RRR
