Both your jars are early 20th century. The KERR ECONOMY is later than the plain ECONOMY as Alexander Kerr bought out the 1903 patent for the jar and started producing them, then had the Kerr name engraved into the molds. His "Self Sealer" was patented in 1915 so those ECONOMY jars fit into that time frame. I believe they continued to produce the ECONOMY jars for awhile beyond 1915.

The other jar fits in about 1920s to 1950s, perhaps not that late. Other more astute jar collectors may be able to add to my meager information.

According to Dick Roller's Standard Reference, Kerr Economy jars were made from 1915-1943 and 1946 to 1955. Kerr continued to produce lids and clamps until 1958. Although Dick does mention that the light green jars (which this looks like it may be one) were made from 1915 to the 1920's. I think the heavy & crude embossing indicates earlier production as well.
