Another great dig Rick. Great finds man. Ya just gotta love those colored squats. Nice job and good luck on this seasons future digs!

Thanks City & madpa we have 3 more pits probed out in that area so we will see whats next.We are also checking out this pre 1850s Hotel tomorrow hopefully it will be a good one.

I wish I would of thought of filming that one,but I was to excited,pix are all I have.

Wow! Great looking finds. The fruit jar looks like it is an "improved" type closure, glass lid/screw band. Any reverse embossing on it? Love the sodas, that 8-sided cobalt is really nice.

The jar is a Masons patent Nov 30th 1858.Now that you mention it,I don't recall ever finding mason with that type of screw top.

hey rick nice dig i dont know that much about sodas but the glass with all the swirls is neat i have a horseman and hound flask that the top is light olive green and as it goes down the bottle turn to a blue aqua at the base it is as if the color just was running down the bottle in spots and i have seen some that are dark olive green on top very light pale olive green in the middle and almost solid black on teh bottom half as if the glass was settleing and thinning and settleing again
anyways nice dig nice bottle
