Diamond Quilted Amber Glass Vase - Please Help!

I am new to glass collecting, ran across this in a goodwill and had to get it...

Can anyone provide any information on this vase? Maker, Approximate age, Value, etc...

The vase has no markings, is 16" high and 9" at its widest point. It does have a seam that runs down the vase starting just below the lip and continues to the bottom. The seam on the other side starts below the lip and stops at the top where the pattern starts. Glass has a few very small air bubbles, no chips or cracks.

I would be very grateful if anyone can teach me what to look for when buying and collecting glass, any tips?

I believe this is very, very new and made in Taiwan, China or some such place. Easily acquired at any home decorating store for $15.00 - $20.00. Not much collector value if interested in older items.
