Different bottom maker's mark

Goodmorning all. Check out the maker's mark on this Acl. Just thought I would share. Nothing important but different. Hawaii bottle but says made in Japan. Never seen that before!

Wow that's an unusual one for sure. Never seen an Asian bottles used by a US soda bottler before. I guess that the distance from the mainland to Hawaii would have made US-made glass expensive enough that Japanese bottle-makers could compete, but I'm surprised that we never saw Asian-made glass used in North America even when we started importing so many other things from Asia in the 60s and 70s.
