Pretty good day in the trash pit. Found a Depression Glass candle holder, 1920s or 30s telephone earpiece, crystal stopper, some broken uranium glass and 2 1920s crown tops (local brands).

The receiver for the telephone is a very nice piece, but they're so hard to clean up as they become highly pitted.

That telephone piece is awesome, and nice glass too. Where's the crown tops?
I'll attach pics after dinner. Around 6:00 P.M. EST.

Yeah, I don't think it'll be shiny like it once was. But it is a lot heavier than I expected.

Cool crowns! I wish I'd be lucky enough to find a crown top. Nothing but 70's junk where I live.
Interestingly enough, across the cart path from this trash pit is scattered some 1800s stuff (which I have pretty much beaten the heck out of) So you never know what lies underneath. Both areas I came upon hiking with my dog. Below is a pic of the old cart path. Out of frame, on the left was the 20s-30s trash pit, on the right is the 1800s stuff. Many trails branch off from this path too.
