Digger Odell books, good or not??

Hi everyone, I saw a bunch of books by Digger Odell, what do you folks think, are they worth getting, do any of you have any of them and if so how do you like them, thanks and aloha.

The books that I bought from Digger are great! Lot of good info and fun to read.

His pontil medicine encyclopedia is one of the best bottle books out there.
I have a couple of his other ones and they are very good too, especially if you want pictures.

I own several of his books I highly recommend his pontil med encyclopedia and his privy digging books are interesting.

I agree great books.He tracks all the major auctions and list alot of bottles you won't see in most books.He don't pull prices from a hat like alot of other general price guide authors. I have never read is privy digging books,maybe I should give it a try sometime.

I found an old copy of his bitters book at a library sale. It's a good reference because it has a picture of every bitters bottle described and each one has a list of auction prices including what year it sold and the condition.
