Oh Yeah!! Digging tomorrow on a street that knows nothing about empty pits. The last one we dug was the best pit we've ever dug. I'll keep you posted!

Yeah... we got a whole heap of bottles. Two warners safe cure, 1 nervine and some other cool stuff. There were 3 pits which produced about 200+ bottles. we gave all the slickers to the homeowner and she was tickled pink. I 'll take some of the other embossed stuff to her now that we have split the finds. The 1870's pit was light on the bottles with only about 25 coming out whole ...there were 3 broken bitters in there though ;(
The other pits were 1880-1900 and were jam packed solid. I'll get some pics together and post 'em soon..
