diving for bottles

I was wondering how you find bottles while diving? I'm probably going to get my diving license this summer and have no idea wher to start. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

I have been diving for 20 years and I have gathered numerous bottles. Most of our bottles here are found in the ocean. Where will you be diving?

Most likely in lake michigan around Milwaukee and Sheboygan.

My family has a cottage on Georgian bay, and being 16 and into bottles and insulators, I found that around piers and big, older docks is the best place for old bottles. Normally right off the end, you will find some.

I'm thinking about trying by some of the old lake front resorts and their piers.
