I have heard a few people talk about doing it but havent seen anyone actually doing it lately.
I'm not sure its worth doing as a service, its expensive and time consuming. I suppose for higher end bottles with slight damage a reasonable price could be arrived at.
I have a couple bottles I have been intending to try a repair on but havent had the time.

Most do it themselves but we did have one guy who repaired bottles and was very good but he took ill and gave it up.

I think my husband, JOETHECROW on here, is pretty good at it. PM if if you have a question about it. He used to work in the glass business and is about to repair one of his own bottles. Maybe he could be of some help to you.
