Nice John ,lets start a Dr Jayne's thread. Here is Dr D Jayne's first Philadelphia bottle on the left the vial shaped Carminative Balsam 1830 to 1835 and the rectangular shaped Oleaginous Hair Tonic 1835 to 1840. The night time pictures came out kind of neat looking. Both bottles are dug examples and have an early pale South Jersey green color. These bottle were likely blown in one of the Bridgeton New Jersey glass works of either Burgin or Bodine where Dr Jayne's had plenty of business contacts and where he started his medicine business in Cumberland County not far from the Cohansey River in Bridgeton. Burgin and Bodine each had sales offices at the glass arcade in Philadelphia.
