Hi,
I would like to know the history behind this bottle (age, value, manufacturer, use, etc.). It is a little over 3.25" high and it has an "8" to the left of a diamond and a "2" to the right of it on the base. Could be Owens-Illinois? 1932 perhaps? Your help would be much appreciated. Thank you.

Matt

It will be OI and that date you have sounds right. Dont have any info on the bottle itself but its a nice one.

Hi Tony,
Yeah, it's my oldest, intact, embossed bottle from the trash pit I discovered last week. I almost had a complete Dr. S. Pierce's Castoria - if not for a side section missing! How old would the Castoria bottle be? I'll post all my finds from this site within the next few days.
