Ahh, that's the scenic route! I'm heading to Raleigh NC next weekend, taking the dreaded I-95..!

no 95 for me. my kids are in the upstate of south carolina. 95 is ok south of washington, but from here to wash blows. my "scenic" route is ok except its two lanes of trucks racing down the hills and crawling up the next. once you get south of the mason-dixon line people from nj are not looked upon kindly...especially when speeding. its not nj where 65 means at least 85. in va 65 means 65 :( greg

ps. if you can drive on the gsp or nj tpk, you can drive anywhere.

i would love to put this delicately. let me explain, i got divorced in 2005. new jersey courts let my ex move out of state. well, she moved to south carolina. its not really a hop skip and a jump from new jersey. its actually a 12 hour drive at 70+mph for at least 12 hours, so its not around the corner, as i would have liked it to be, but i try to make the best of the worst situation. so in my travels i like to meet other collecters. preferably near where my youngest son is in sc to just go out, and have fun like i used to to when he was with me. well, im rambling but i would really like to meet other collecters and especially someone in the upstate of south carolina, where my son now lives, just to dig and make more memories. greg
