Thanks to the information on this list a few weeks ago I saw this one-of-a-kind Celery Cola bottle from Reidsville NC at the Mebane NC Country Store Auction. I drove 750 miles after work Wednesday and got to NC around 8 am. I found a couple of bargains among the guys setup in the parking lot and then looked over the 400 lots (including 7800 bottles and tons of great soda signs). A rare straightside Coke from Sanford NC went for two thousand dollars plus 10% premium and sales tax.

I visited with a couple of forum members and bid on a few items and was glad this Celery Cola was among the early lots. I left mid-afternoon even though the auction was scheduled to last for three days. I left a couple of absentee bids but everything else was going higher than I was willing to pay. I found a few more things in antique shops in six states driving another 750 miles home.

Kudos!

I'd drive to Hades and back for a Pemberton "French Wine Coca" bottle with original label! Lol [;)]

The bottle had been in a museum in Raleigh NC for fifty years. The son of the couple who gathered 18 buildings of fabulous collectibles was selling everything as he is now retired and can't manage the collection. He was there at the auction and individually thanking people bidding.
