Digging at an 1853 residence today. Many early medicines but no alcohol, except 'tonic'.
Three sizes of DR. A.O.WRIGHT
WAUKEGAN, ILL. , a small hinge mold, creamer, and silvered lamp.
Left the homeowner satisfied.

I am new to all this so please bare with me as I may ask stupid questions.. you go and dig at these places and these old bottles were found. How do you know where to dig? This just amazes me. Do you think you can find bottles on just an old home place?

Any old house pre 1900 will have a Privy a.k.a. Outhouse. The Outhouse is where they threw Garbage in & Bottles during use & after use to fill Hole. I've Dug probably a hundred & gotten Hundreds of Bottles. LEON.
