Through all of my digging I have never dug a cobalt poison. Luck was on my side yesterday. All in all we got a cobalt poison, two druggists, milks emulsion, nice bennington marble and a 1918 silver half dollar. It was a good day of digging with my father and best friend, and I cannot wait to do it again. To all of you guys living in the frozen north I am sorry it is too cold for you to dig, but your season is just about to begin and ours is almost over. The temps outside dallas reached 100 degrees outside of Dallas this week. When the summer comes it is just to hot to dig much so that is when I will be doing alot of bottle fondling, research and cleaning. To everyone going out digging this week-end good luck to you.

Do you have any pics. of it? Congrats I know mine is not very rare, but it was a nice find in my eyes. I have dug many amber poisons, but the cobalt one is now my favorite poison in my collection.

Nice find, Brad. That style is a little harder to find than some of the really common ones. I'm still working on getting through the 40s-50s layer of my dump, but I know there is older stuff there. The few poisons I've seen so far have been broken to pieces, but hopefully a few good ones are waiting for me below! Jim
