Fellow diggers and I have dug many Dundee Marmalades in different sizes but almost never dig the tops.

Looking for a top to a 4 1/4 tall by 3" Dundee. If you have a spare I will buy it.

These pots were Normally sealed with wax paper tied around the neck of the pot
Have never seen a top for one ,,we dig a fair few in the UK ,,the pot you have is a totally different shape to UK pots so i might be wrong about the stopper
Would like to see one if you come across one

Hey David, The ones we dig have a flat lid with a neck to the inside with a groove for a rubber ring. Maybe it was an export thing. I've seen these things up to a gallon.

The lids, when you find them are always busted up.[X(]

Hi Warren
the ones we get in the Uk are normally straight sided pots with a groove about 1/2 inch from the top ..
Maybe they needed a stornger seal for the long sea journey to the US then

if you ever get a top even in bits would be interesting to see
