ebay reproduction coke bottle

Surfing the hutchinson bottles on ebay, I came across a reproduction coke bottle that sold over a 100 bucks, when the seller was told that the bottle was a reproduction, his response was that he asured that it was not one, I collect bimal cokes and know how a hutchinson coke looks like and also know it would fitch well over a 1000, this kind of misrepresentation "pisses me off"and think that these sellers who pray on unsuspecting buyers should be band for life, here's a picture of the bottle, what do you think?

The layout on the repro is higher on the shoulders and larger letters than the original. Also, the neck on the repro is too long and has a ring around it. Here's a picture of the real thing, thanks for asking

That looks like the 1894 Hutchinson Bottle Replica authorized by Coca-Cola in 1997. Sold in gift & novelty stores, like Spencers, for about 15 to 20 bucks back then. It should have @1997 Coca-Cola Company,etc. embossed on the base...[/align]If the seller neglected to mention this "small factoid" in his description, then he should refund the monies...[/align] [/align]There have been a couple of other replicas/repRoes issued over the years...in 1978 ? & 1986 ? I think....[/align]

I have seen a Hutch Coke repro for the 100th Anniversary of Coca-Cola. It is from 1986. If it is in its original box, and the paperwork that came with it, it can sell for $200. Out of the box, no paperwork-it sells for around $50. It has '100' embossed on the bottom and looks more like the original bottle shape.
