This was an interesting project. Took a late 1800's telegraph pole that was already on the ground, and cut a 2 1/2 foot long portion of it off. Then, cut it down the middle, creating a flat side to mount the piece of pole on the wall. Found an early threadless angled pin from another area, and affixed it to the mount. Viola! Wall art.
