Eli Lilly bottle question

I recently found an Eli Lilly bottle in an untouched cellar full of fruit jars at an old house place. I can't find ANYTHING online about the bottle. It's around 3 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/2 inches wide. It's square, and a very pretty teal green color. It has Solution No. 45 Merthiolate written on the outside in white writing. Sorry for the terrible picture quality. I left the bottle in Alabama and my dad texted me the photo.

Hello Kev, With that photo quality, it's difficult to say anything, other than try again. Are the white letters pyroglazed paint?

Greetings erum, Eli Lilly has been in business since the mid 19th Century, very successfully producing everything from Atropine to Zyprexa. Without good photos of your bottle, it's finish, and base, it's very difficult to tell you much of anything about it.

Found bottle too and I can’t find any info. Also found with blue hospital use only bottles.
