wombart Welcome to the forum. You will qualify for a blue ribbon if the bottle pictured in the center, the one with the debossed pointed pyramid, is dated 1936 or earlier. Please check the base of the bottle for a date code or any other numbers/letters. Thanks a lot Bob
The one on the left is marked 1360, then there is a G with a box around it, and a 2 The green one on the right is very hard to make out but all I see is a very faded LCW (or LGW)
wombart: Thanks for the speedy reply. The letters you see on the bottle are LGW for the Laurens Glass Works. I was afraid the center bottle might be another LGW. The following link will take you to a recent forum thread about Royal Crown Cola bottles. It currently has 12 Pages, 229 Replies, and 6,878 views. It will explain all about your LGW 2 bottle and a lot more. It will also give you an idea why we are so interested in finding a 1936 bottle. So far the earliest confirmed date is for a 1937. Check it out ... https://www.antique-bottles.net/forum/Oldest-ACL-Royal-Crown-Cola-Bottle-m650674.aspx
Thanks for sharing and please let us know what you come up with after reading the thread.
P.S. The 1936-1937 dates I mentioned are for ACL (Painted Label) Royal Crown Cola bottles and not those with paper labels. However, "any" RC bottle dated 1936 or earlier would be of interest, especially the paper label examples with the camels on it.
Thanks for the pictures of the bases. Please use the information from this Glenshaw Glass codes page and then check the lip of the bottle on the left. (You might need a magnifying glass to see the letter) Thanks
It appears to be a "D" so a pretty late one (1958). Do you know if that book you posted the Glenshaw Glass codes page from is available for purchase anywhere?
