I know nothing about this insulator other than of the embossed star and it has a cool bubble. The color is beautiful. I would really appreciate any information on it, even the value?

Appears to be a CD 145...book value of $1-5 depending on exact embossing and condition. I think it's considered "postal style"? Again, more knowledgeable folks will confirm.

Yup, CD 145 Postal Style. There are several different profiles of Star beehives. This type, with the narrow skirt, is similar to beehives embossed POSTAL and used by the Postal Telegraph Company, hence the name. Collectors nickname this style the "beehive" and they're typically found on telegraph lines.

General Electric contracted with several glass companies to produce the Star embossed insulators that they marketed in the early 1900s.

The "Postal" style is a bit more unusual than the typical Star beehive, and this one's a nice blue-aqua color. Chris's (Sparrow75's) value of 1-5 is right on. If it's in really good shape, closer to 5. Hope you have a nice sunny window to put it in and enjoy it.
