Just wondered if any of the other Maine bottle diggers have found any of these sheared lip inks. Three of us were digging a dump in Durham Maine one day and each of us found one the same day. The dump was prob 1880-1920's. Also found a couple chunks of flint from England. I have dug bottles in Maine and NH for 40+ yrs just never ran into any of these inks in the dumps. I have found quite a few pontilled inks. Who knows maybe just haven't dug in the right spot.
