Recently got this from a local collector. Dr Fahrney's Preparation for Cleansing the Blood Boonsboro MD. It has a damaged corner but I think its worthy of being repaired. You dont see them too often. Supposedly some of these were made at the Baltimore Glass Works.

I think the bottles propably were produced in Baltimore. Glassworks auctioned off that coppery one which is one of the colors you see from there, though the mold on that particular one was different. Over the years I've dug a number of CW 1870ish patent whiskey cylinders with the same style applied top in dramatic Balt colors, yellow topaz, redish puce, etc. I'd say it it's a good bet Fahrney put his bottle order in there.

yes that copper topaz one had a weird Baltimore color. The Fahrney's German Liniment was probably made at the same place.
I think my early dark aqua Fahrney's Panacea was made in Pittsburgh. The color, style , and embossing match other bottles I have from there.
Later on they seemed to buy Jersey bottles.
