I found this dump a while back and had held off on it becuase I thought it was not worth my time. There were hundreds of these green turpentine looking bottles (Probably bottles for juice produced from the farm) and worthless jars from the 1960s and late 1950s everywhere and not much else. I decided to give it another go today and I'm glad I did. I dug for a bit through worthless jars and blank green bottles and was about to give up when I broke through about half a foot deep and suddenly the good layer began. I found a late throw bottle which suprised me and then popped out two beautiful ACL sodas and more! Found a broken embossed Cream Top too :( . The dirt is so dry and ashy at this spot that I'm sure there are more awesome ACL bottles waiting for me to uncover them. I was having so much fun, but it was getting late. I still have a bit more to search. I found remnents of conetops so there is some good potential for those here! Here are the finds:

Awesome late throw cobalt!, Mission bottle from Norwich, CT (Amazing condition, see below), Nice Red, White, and Blue ACL Pepsi from West Warwick, R.I. (need to figure out how to safely remove rust) and a Red Fox Ginger Ale Quart Soda from Providence, R.I. (needs to be soked).

Laundry advertising hanger (from Columbia, SC) and an early plastic swizzle spoon from Radcliff Inn Rt. 12 Plainfield, Conn.

Stunning! :) :

Any way to remove rust without damaging the ACL? :

Nice finds.... ;)......My suggestion for the rust issue would be, find a not so nice common ACL bottle that has similar rust issues and try soaking it in lemon juice and see how it comes out, if no issues to the ACL, and it removes the rust, then give it a go on your nicer ACL bottles.

Love the Acl bottles. Can’t believe they turned out so nice. The fire extinguisher is cool too. Just sold a big one of hose on eBay
