Ferris Glen Falls N.Y. blob

What can anyone tell me about this one? Embossed E.FERRISS / GLENS FALLS NEW YORK. I found it here in a river in Wisconsin. It is a nice early applied blob beer with the Dean Foster & Co Boston glass house mark on the base. Aqua, whittled, no damage really anywhere. Thanks in advance! Tom

Ezra Ferris has a number of stoneware bottles and now two champagne beer bottles. I have not seen this one until now. Also the Dean Foster & Co mark is interesting as it does not have the "Made By" designation. Must be an early mark.
