Yeah, we had some flurries yesterday and the wind chill was Brutal! I only spent about a half an hour or so just surface hunting the site. Never actually did any digging other than scratching around. Was wanting something better than a fruit jar, but it's better than Nothing! With the jars I think you get into the money when it has a Pontil or an unusual Color. Some seem to do better than others. I don't collect them, but have ended up with a mess of em from digging. This one is neat because of a manufacturing flaw that created some deep waves in the edge of the lip. I love the older Crude stuff!

Cleaned up a little better. Has some stain and sickness, but not too bad. A good old solid piece of glass! Made my day to put something on the shelf from 2011.

The lip has a flaw in the glass that created a wave along the edge. There is a rough spot in the wave, like a potstone. Pretty neat and gives it character... I like the crude stuff!

I still have yet to get out this year and find something! There's been several inches of snow/ice on the ground for the past month. Hopefully I'll get out there soon [;)] Thats one of the neatest jars I've ever seen. The wax sealers are the nicest jars around IMO. Great find!
