Well, we've had a long hiatus from digging this year. I walked a lot of different promising spots in late winter/early spring that looked good on the map, but didn't find anything promising. Yvette and I went to a spot that we talked about digging last year, it's a small triangle of woods, maybe a couple of acres large. We found a small dump site, two days of digging total. She found this nice squat soda, and I found the ball cover. I know this cover is fairly rare - and the first one we've found. It originally had a screw band around it. The squat soda is also a first for us. This was a TOC dump with lots of cast iron, of which we kept a few nice decorative pieces. It's great to be back on the forum - I've been away so long, nice to see the other posts and the great stuff coming out of the ground. Hope everyone has had a great summer so far.
