Bram,I used to live fairly close to the river but I am in Ohio now.My friends and family in Mo. & Illinois are all a good distance from the river,Thank God..It is terrible, the destruction that is taking place.I can not imagine what it must be like for those affected.

The only good thing about flooding is the erosion will turn up some good old ottles around creek and river banks. It happened here during Hurricane Floyd. Several amber Pepsi Cola's from Tarboro, NC were found and they book several thousand dollars for one. Sadly I wasn't in the bottle hobby then.
