What are the odds? I found the top half of this Bazin's Shaving Cream pot lid a couple of weeks ago in the dump that I've been digging. I thought that it was cool so I kept it. Well, today I found the bottom but I didn't know for sure until I got it home and noted that it was a perfect match. Now, that's just way cool! Same dump Different day!!! Go figure!!!

Hi Dan,

Amazing to find the other half as rare to find even a broken one in the first place let alone 2 perfect matches in the same hole.

Thanks David. Do you know when these date to? Also, is there a market for these even if they are broken as this one is?

Being broken definately hurts the value but i have still seen broken ones sell especially if they are repaired well. One good thing is ceramics are much easier to restore than glass.

Matt, I don't plan on repairing it myself but maybe I'll just put it on ebay the way it is and see if someone else wants to go throught the repair process. Thanks for your comments.
