Found in N. Dakota!!???

Sorry for the bad first pic. As I hope you will see, this flask has a crowned lion rampant, wielding an axe. Since the area in which I found this was widely settled by Norwegians (and some other Scandanavians,) perhaps this is Old World???

What a thrill to find this, and what a heartbreak to find it broken!

Anyone know anything about this? Information appreciated.

The Norwegian coat of arms is a crowned lion with the ax.
