Went to visit my parents today and my dad said he had an insulator for me. So he gave me this neat guy. I was pretty excited.

Don't remember its CD number but its called a frog eye. Comes in honey amber, root beer, and and clear like you have. Lowex usually made the ambers, while Hemingray made clears and various aquas. These were power insulators rather than telephone or telegraph.

That is neat. I love the color of it. Thanks for sharing. This is my first one that I have gotten bigger than the Hemingray 42.

It's CD 238. Hemingray made them around the late 1930s - 1950s.
