Cute little jug, nice rustic finish.. I always feel sorry for the ones with broken handles.. still perfectly useful just harder to take a swig with one hand.. does it have a corn cob stopper?? I'd date it roughly.. early 20th century.

i cant really tell what dind of cork,i cant get it all the way out but its wrapped with some paper thats crumbling and the cork is super hard and an inch of the top of the cork has been broke off,im almost positive it a regular wood type material ok i just scratched it a little with a nail its a regular cork material.the cork when i got it was at the bottom of the jug and i pulled it up the the top some,i think it looks better and has more character that way.thanks as always charlie i love the input im a sponge and you guys is the water
