hey all it been raining here thank God. but havent been able to dig . it let up today so i got an hour before had to get home .to dig on the river. found these 4 a cali fig syrup a slick cures?? an arbuckle bros. chicago an the amber looking soda but i dont think it was a soda because it got a measurment mark for a half cup thanks for looking an any help bill

The brown soda-shaped bottle held Certo, a fruit pectin for making jam. I find them everywhere. VERRRRRY common bottles, but I like them for some reason. They date from the 30's and 40's I believe.

DiggerBoy is right...that's a certo bottle. Neat little bottles. Sometimes they come on other colors than amber, but not often. Very common bottle. A while back I had posted an ad for Certo here:Certo Post
