Dug this one yesterday in Harriman, TN. Any idea where and when these were made. Lots of sodas from Harriman but never heard of these being from there. It is a 6oz--smaller in diameter than a regular soda. Value???

Hey, dewdog, nice Nu-Icy, haven't seen a green one before. I've got a few clear ones with different shapes than yours and a straight quart with paper label. Seems like Nu-Icy was around in the 1930s.

Thanks for the replies--found several broken ones in the dig--most of the bottles were local--still not sure where these came from--maybe Knoxville????

I have one of these green Nu-Icy bottles too. Been too long since I got it to remember exactly where, but I think someone brought it and several other green glass bottles about the same size to auction for raising the club's funds a few year's back. I like green bottles so I got them.

All my bottles (except for the 12 aluminum Green Art Mountain Dew bottles) are at my house in Tenn., so I can't run into the next room and look to see if mine says anything else, like where its from. Will put on my "next trip to Tenn. to-do list" and then hope that when I do go, I don't forget to take the list (been there, done that too).

Remembered that I had a photo of that part of my shelves where I thought it was sitting and went to the "N" folder look. Yep - seems from the photo that I have two....

Now, just to remember to actually look at them when I go.

Those are common locally and there are two other brands with the same bottle and lettering. Try-Me Pale which was gingerale and Pen-Rock which was a lemon/lime drink. The Green Nu-Icy was also a lemony soda. I also have some Nu-Icy order forms and other papers around here somewhere. My Nu-Icy's are packed away to make room for my mom but I have the other two brands on the shelf. They are a good bit rarer so they stay inside.

Hey John,

It is a Dybala's Spring Bottling Works From Woonsocket R. I.
I couldn't hardly pass up a bottle fron Woonsocket now could I. [sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif][sm=lol.gif]
I do have a weakness for decos and worse for green ones.
