300 million know guns in the USA...good luck...this thing is making gun dealers...NRA..ammo dealers richer then ever....

Any hoo ROCKO MAN HOPE IT GOES THE WAY YOU WANT IT TOO![I know your handle is ROCKBOT...but I just like ROCKO..so no offense at all!

I have been around guns all my life and was allowed to hunt by myself at age 8 with a one shot 4:10 shot gun...have one now...but some seem to be obsessed with them...I understand some love to collect them like I love to collect bottles...and I know the worn out saying "Guns don't kill people....etc....but when children are getting killed by the son of a gun collector and he killed mom first....and when people ain't safe to go see a BAT MAN movie ..on and on...we got to do something..I ain't talking no guns at all...just ten clips and getting rid of ASSAULT WEAPONS..ASSAULT yall get it?

Also Mental Health CARE has to get better..I was in school majoring in Mental Health when REAGAN SLASHED THE BUGET putting many insane people on the streets and it has gotten worse and worse..sad it has taken these killings for people to realize this...of course people will still get murdered by guns or other ways..but I remember a time in this town in the 70's we didn't have this problem...then [this is another thing to be thought of] CRACK CAME OUT AND BAM..IT GOT BAD AND FAST!!

ANY WAY I LOVE YOU ALL AND MAY THE LORD HELP US ALL!!JAMIE

I think you should be able to own whatever firearm you want. Its your right to not only be able to protect your family but your country from other countries. If they knew we were unarmed which do you think would come at us first?! I am not trying to get into a debate, just voicing my opinion (you know what they say about opinions after all). [;)]

Hey no problem Jamie, all my friends call me Rocko! [:)]

Hawaii has some of the toughest gun laws. They work great for us hear and we have very low gun related crimes. In fact the weapon of choice here is beatings. In our beautiful tropical Islands more people die every year from beatings or alcohol related events.[&:]

Firearm restrictions should be a State issue. Each State can chose its own level of restriction, plain and simple.

We don't need this socialist mentality that the liberal establishment want to create on a Federal level.

Hawaii law requires an extensive back ground check for any firearms purchase. You must get approval by the Police department and the Police Chief.
You are denied a permit to acquire a firearm if you have any mental conditions, domestic violations, drug or alcohol abuse and dishonorably discharged from the military just to name a few.

So yes I do support good sound gun restrictions on a local level.

Amen!
