Also True assault weapons can not be owened unless you fork out a lot of cash an have a FFL licenses.Now if your talking about a AR 15 .There great as a hunting rifle .Not only can you hunt hogs (Nice one Kip.)its great for deer,turkey,coyote,wild dogs,ground hogs ,gators not to mention a lot of other huntable animals.Its great for home defence too.Here is a pic of one that a person could buy during the last assault weapon ban.Has No flash suppressor or bayonet lug.This Colt has put food on a lot of peoples table.
