H.W.Buffum &Co. AGTS.?

I was wonderring if anyone can tell me anything at all about this bottle. I have seen H.W. Buffum &Co. I have also seen a few diff. J.C.Buffum's. Is this Possibly the first Buffum from "PITTSG PA"? That is how it appears on the bottle. If it isn't visible in the photo, it reads; H.W.BUFFUM/& Co/AGTS/(large)B/PITTS_G(underlined smaller)PA("A"is smaller)/(on heel)C&I. There is also a large B on the bottom.Thanks, Zane

I just posted a pic of that bottle from the collection we have. My bottle looks like it may have been tumbled as the raised lettering seems very faint. Angie

It reads H W Buffum & Co Pitts (there is an upside down5 here) PA C& I

sorry the other pic you cannot see, this is a little better but the writing is very faint , this one does not have the AGTS

If yours has no signs of the word "AGTS" like mine it may be the more common version w/out it. I have found two whole ones and three broken without the word AGTS on them.
