I can't find any mention of it in books or on the web and so I'm wondering if it's a rare one. I bought it at a New Hampshire antique store about 5 or 6 years ago. I don't remember what I paid, but it was cheap, maybe 5 bucks or so.

It's embossed Ruby N Sloe Gin, with the N made to look like logs with twigs and leaves around it (hard to catch that in the photo). The base is embossed 466 in a diamond. It has a tooled lip, if I had to guess at age I would say 1890s.

Thanks again for any clues!

Sean

Hi Sean, yes this would be just a leed and their are no numbers, but have a diamond with a D in center since 1912 Dominion Canada (also I am former Canuck and don't know if we have those strange Gins down here) But in Canada we had such things as Lemon., Peach and maybe some others all combined in the bottle).
Another same mark is for Consolidated Nova Scotia Canada.
