Help with Origin & year of 1gal. jug?

Can someone help me with the origin, year and type of bottle I have in picture? It has 1 Gallon embossed on side and underneath has 4 circle w/ diamond through it 7. 8 below circle with diamond. DES. PAT 94413. in center of bottom.
I would appreciate any help Thank You

Thanks for helping me out. Bottle is brown like a medicine bottle. Do you know anything about it?

Probably held cider or maybe bleach.
