This is a cool machine made bottle; but of course, the pic comes out looking like crap.
Before Owens Illinois took over the Hemingray plant (1933?), this refrigerator bottle was made for the General Electric refrigerators with the slat vent compressor on top. This one is ice blue, and embossed;
WATER / for use with the / General (ge) Electric / Refrigerator

The base is embossed HEMINGRAY, and the back side has graduated measurements. This is a 1 1/2 pint sized bottle. The cap is aluminum, bearing the GE logo.
As far as I'm aware, these may have been plentiful, but are very hard to find made by Hemingray.

I know an (eccentric) awesome person who has one, not too far from here in Missouri. There was one at an antique barn, and it still works! Well, it gets too cold, there's probably no defrost cycle for the evaporator!

The thought that crosses my mind with these... is to re-use them!
