Hi everyone - I am pretty new here, and I have ALOT of bottles that I need help identifying. I am just getting into digging for bottles, and have found it to be a fantastic way to spend time with my husband. We have run across several different ones that I have not been able to identify using the internet or books...however my bottle information sleuthing skills are not as good as my bottle digging skills. I did see in some of your other forum posts a few items that I have been looking to identify, like the forum thread about the White Sox Bottle, so I am convinced that a lot of you will be able to help me with some of my other bottles here.

Here is a bottle that has a quilted like pattern on it. It is clear, and reads Highland Park Beverage CO across the front shoulder area. At the bottom of the front it reads Highland Park, and at the bottom in the back it says Illinois. When flipped the foot of the bottle reads Contents 7 FLOZ. and then below that it looks like it might be the Owens Illinoise logo with a 9 on the left and a 9 on the right and a 1 or I with a period after it.

Can anyone tell me anything else about this bottle or the Highland Park Beverage Company. (I am assuming it was soda in this bottle) However, could someone tell me what kinds the company made? Is the bottle rare"er"? How much would it be worth? Would the 9 on the bottom date be a 29 or a 39? Are there other bottles out there that use this quilted pattern?

I know....too many questions, right? If there is anyone out there that has information about this, please let me know or even direct me to somewhere I could find more information. I find the history on the bottles is just as intriguing as trying to find the bottles.

Thank you!

Hi, I can't help much other than the company was listed in 1925. I also think the 9 is 39.
Cool pattern.
